Cool White – 5700–6500K

Nichia 519A – 5000K R9080

The manufacturer notes that these specifications are approximate and were measured under laboratory conditions using a high-quality lithium battery.

USB Magnetic Charging

The H04 RC and H04R RC feature a magnetic charging port for convenient recharging without removing the compatible battery.

Simply connect the supplied magnetic charging cable to a USB power source and attach it to the flashlight's charging port.

Charging indicator:

• Red: Charging

• Blue: Charging complete

The manufacturer recommends a USB power source rated at no less than 10W (5V/2A).

Important: The built-in charging function is intended for one compatible 3.6V/3.7V rechargeable Li-ion battery. Do not use the charging function with disposable CR123A batteries. Ensure the battery is correctly installed, with the positive terminal facing the flashlight head.

Replaceable Battery and Power Indicator

The H04 RC / H04R RC is designed around a replaceable 18650 Li-ion battery, allowing users to replace the battery when needed instead of relying on a permanently built-in power source.

The flashlight also features a battery status indicator integrated into the side switch. When the light is turned on, the indicator illuminates for approximately five seconds to show the battery's remaining charge.

• Constant blue: Approximately 80–100%

• Blinking blue: Approximately 50–80%

• Constant red: Approximately 20–50%

• Blinking red: Approximately 0–20%

The flashlight also provides a low-voltage warning. When battery voltage drops below 3.0V, the indicator flashes twice every two seconds and the main light flashes briefly every two minutes. At approximately 2.7V, the flashlight shuts off to help prevent excessive battery discharge.

Multiple Brightness Levels and Easy Operation

The H04 RC / H04R RC features four operating groups: Main, Low, Turbo, and Strobe. The electronic side switch provides access to different brightness levels and special modes without requiring a mechanical mode selector.

Main Group: H → M1 → M2

Provides the main brightness levels for everyday illumination.

Low Group: L1 → L2

Provides lower-output lighting for close-range tasks and situations where reduced brightness is preferred.

Turbo Group: T1 → T2

Provides quick access to higher-output illumination when additional brightness is needed.

Strobe Group: S1 → S2 → S3

Offers three flashing modes.

Switch Operation

• Single-click: Turn the light on or off.

• Press and hold for 0.5 seconds while off: Enter the Low Group.

• Double-click while off: Enter the Turbo Group.

• Triple-click while off: Enter the Strobe Group.

• Press and hold while on in the Main, Low, or Turbo Group: Cycle through the available brightness levels.

• Quick double-click while in the Main or Low Group: Enter Turbo; double-click again to return to the previous brightness level.

• Quick triple-click while in the Main or Low Group: Enter Strobe; triple-click again to return to the previous brightness level.

• Quick click followed by holding the switch: Toggle between the Main and Low Groups.

• Press and hold in Strobe: Cycle through S1, S2, and S3.

The flashlight remembers the last selected brightness level or mode when switched off, according to the manufacturer's operating instructions.

Electronic Lockout and Location Indicator

To help prevent accidental activation during storage or transport, the H04 RC / H04R RC includes an electronic lockout function.

When the flashlight is off, quickly click the side switch four times to activate lockout. The location indicator also activates and flashes approximately once per second.

Double-clicking the switch turns the location indicator on or off while locked. Quickly clicking the switch four times again unlocks the flashlight and activates Low mode.

This feature helps prevent unwanted activation in a pocket, backpack, or gear bag while making the flashlight easier to locate in darkness.

Magnetic Tailcap and Hands-Free Use

The magnetic tailcap allows the flashlight to attach to suitable metal surfaces, providing hands-free illumination for repairs, equipment inspection, and other close-range work.

The right-angle body can be used with the included headband for hands-free lighting, carried as a handheld flashlight, or attached to clothing or equipment using the pocket clip.

Its compact construction makes it practical for outdoor activities, workshop use, vehicle maintenance, and everyday carry.
